# UCP Profile Setup

**ESW creates and hosts the UCP profile on your behalf.** You do not create or host manifest files. ESW configures the payment handler as part of the checkout integration.

## How ESW Sets Up Your UCP Profile

ESW creates a UCP profile, also called a well-known file. It tells AI agents which commerce actions your brand supports. ESW hosts the manifest using your domain and connects it to the ESW checkout API. ESW owns the manifest and its payment-handler configuration. Do not create a separate handler or edit the manifest.
