# Webhook Integration

ESW uses webhooks to send event notifications to Adobe Commerce. The extension receives these requests and processes the related business flow.

### Webhook endpoint

Use this endpoint for inbound ESW webhooks:

`{domain}/eshopworld/event/processing/`

The endpoint must be reachable by ESW.

### Webhook validation

The endpoint is protected with Basic Auth.

Use the same credentials configured for **Order Confirmation Configuration** under **Configuration > Checkout**.

{% hint style="info" %}
[Webhook JWT Authentication](/adobe-commerce-magento/additional-features/webhook-jwt-authentication.md) is the default and recommended validation method. Basic Auth can still be used when it is enabled.
{% endhint %}

### Configure webhook dispatch in ESW

Configure ESW to send the required event types to the webhook endpoint.

Use authentication credentials that match the extension configuration.

### Supported event types

#### Cancellations

* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.ordercancelsucceededevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.ordercancelfailedevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.lineitemcancelsucceededevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.lineitemcancelfailedevent`

#### Appeasements

* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.orderappeasementsucceededevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.orderappeasementfailedevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.lineitemappeasementsucceededevent`
* `eshopworld.platform.events.oms.lineitemappeasementfailedevent`

#### Returns

* `logistics-return-order-retailer`

### Expected result

After setup is complete:

* ESW can deliver webhook requests to Adobe Commerce
* the extension can authenticate incoming requests
* supported event types can trigger the related sync flows

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://developer.esw.com/adobe-commerce-magento/integration/webhook-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
