# Synchronize ESW Package with Adobe Commerce

"Synchronize ESW Package with ESW" process is when, the ESW package data record is replicated by crating shipment in Adobe Commerce (Magento). This type of synchronization can be used in the following scenarios:

* When a retailer integrates with the ESW "Ship from Anywhere" ESP platform solution for manually processing a lower volume of shipments, they still need to keep records up to date in Adobe Commerce (Magento) to ensure proper synchronization with the OMS
* When a retailer integrates WMS system directly with ESW logistic API to process high-volume of shipments automatically and still need to keep records up to date in Adobe Commerce (Magento)

#### Custom data for the shipment item <a href="#custom-data-for-the-shipment-item" id="custom-data-for-the-shipment-item"></a>

Additional custom data, such as serial number and warranty ID, can be stored in the custom module table (`eshopworld_shipment_item`) on Adobe Commerce (Magento) for each shipment item and retrieved as needed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://developer.esw.com/adobe-commerce-magento/esw-adobe-extension-features/order-fulfillment-package-asn/synchronize-esw-package-with-adobe-commerce.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
